(1) What is Basic Payroll Processing?

In Basic Payroll processing, we do payroll for our client. Since this is a basic service, our HR Analyst takes up basic payroll processing which includes generating advice for Employee Net Pay, Statutory dues to be filed (ESI, PF, Professional Tax) as well as yearly advice on Form 16, etc. For this activity, our HR Analyst uses Excel based worksheets, and reports are sent as HR Advice monthly to each client. Since this is a basic service, we charge, a flat-fee of Rs. 10,000 for a small client having 10 or lesser than 10 employees.

An Employer on Record (EOR) is a Staffing service offered by us where we become legal employer of employees of our client on record. Here, the client manages the employee’s work and pays the employee by EOR contracts in place, but the employee sits on our books. Typically, in this arrangement we scale up and expects the client to pay for services which usually is much broader than payroll processing. In EOR services offered by us, we do the following activities for which the client meets expenses and are,
·Employment and Contracts including issuing of offer letters, employment agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreement if any, IP clauses, etc.
·Payroll & Compliance includes Salary Processing, TDS, PF, ESI, Labour Law compliance, Statutory filings
·Benefits Administration including Insurances, Leave policies, Gratuity, and Bonus Compliance,
·Onboarding & Exit including Employee onboarding, Background checks, Full & Final settlements, as well as
·Legal responsibilities that may have to do with Labour disputes, or compliance risk or termination clauses.
